At Irshad HR Consulting, we are proud to deliver the K-Youth Development Programme, a structured initiative designed to equip Malaysian youth with the skills, exposure, and opportunities needed to succeed in today’s competitive workforce. The programme focuses on enhancing employability through industry-relevant training, practical workplace experience, and meaningful engagement with potential employers, ensuring participants are well-prepared for the right career opportunities. Programme Objectives
The programme aims to:
- Equip participants with industry-relevant technical skills aligned with high-demand sectors
- Provide hands-on practical experience through structured On-Job Training (OJT)
- Develop professional competencies such as communication, accountability and workplace ethics
- Strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving and adaptability, including the use of AI tools in modern work environments

- Available for full-time training and placement.

What is K-Youth Development Programme?
K-Youth is a youth employability initiative by Khazanah Nasional Berhad that aims to develop Malaysia’s future talents. This programme is designed to equip youth with relevant skills to enhance their employability in the evolving job market. K-Youth reflects our commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship, aligned with our Advancing Malaysia long term strategy and the Malaysia MADANI aspirations, which meaningfully contributes to the country’s economic growth.
Is there any cost to enter the programme?
This programme is TOTALLY FREE! In fact you will receive the salary throughout the 4-months programme including government statutory deductions (e.g.,EPF, SOCSO, EIS.)
Am I eligible to take part in this programme?
You are eligible to take part if you meet the criteria below:
- Malaysian citizen aged 30 years old and below
- Graduate from universities, colleges and school with recognised Degree or Diploma qualification, with these background :
- Mechanical
- Mechatronic
- Electrical
- Malaysian youth with minimum SPM/SPMV qualification
- Unemployed for more than One (1) month

What is on-job-training (OJT)?
OJT is a 3.5 months paid apprenticeship programme that provides you with chance to apply theoretical and technical knowledge gained throughout the training in a real-world work environment. In some cases, OJT can serve as a stepping stones to a full-time job offer (employment) within the same organisation if you perform well and meet the employer’s expectations.
Where will I be doing the OJT?
You will be placed at selected host companies according to the courses that you enrolled. Kindly apply this programme if you’re thriving in the mentioned industry! Be advised that some of the host companies may or may not provide logistic such as transportation and/or accommodation.
